Ethical hackers are commonly described as highly skilled individuals who attempt to penetrate and/or assess the security of authorized networks, systems, and Web applications with the sole intent of identifying security weaknesses so that they may be addressed by system owners and maintainers.    

The team at RVASI comprises of industry certified experts in the field of Ethical Hacking and Information Security who specialize in conducting comprehensive vulnerability assessments of client networks, systems, and Web applications.  Each of our consultants has a diverse background in the Information Security field and is highly skilled in one or more unique areas including but not limited to: secure code analysis, penetration testing, low-level vulnerability scanning, network security, systems security, Web application security, security policy and technical standards development, in-depth security research and analysis, security awareness training, and more.  In addition, all of our consultants regularly attend skill-enhancing training, contribute to the Information Security community in many ways, and complete a battery of challenging skill-testing exercises annually.  As a result, our consultants are some of the best trained, knowledgeable, experienced, and technically skilled that the industry has to offer.  Intern, this enables us to deliver best-of-industry assessment services and solutions to all of our clients around the globe.

Furthermore, each of our consultants possesses the knowledge and skills similar to that of an advanced attacker however, they only use their unique abilities for defensive purposes and against authorized targets.  In addition, RVASI has very strict hiring polices and only employs Ethical Hackers and similar individuals within the Information Security field that personify the highest level of ethics in all areas.  Each of our consultants must undergo a rigorous criminal background and personal records check prior to being granted employment.  Once employed, they must agree to and sign a Non-Disclosure & Code of Ethics Agreement, and maintain an impeccable legal & ethical track record.  What's more, RVASI management regularly reviews the records and business practices/dealings of all its consultants to ensure strict compliance with our security policies and confidentiality agreements; RVASI only allows those team members that have a need-to-know to access the information you provide to us.

RVASI Labs

The RVASI Lab team is a pivotal part of what we do and how we do it.  The team is comprised of a subset of our RVASI consultants whose primary focus is conducting in-depth: security research and analysis, security product evaluation, security solution development, exploit research, proof of concept testing, intelligence gathering, and more.  Their ongoing and meticulous efforts allow our field consultants to focus on presenting practical and proven services and solutions often required to uncover and resolve some of the most complex security vulnerabilities, issues, or concerns faced by our clients.  On a daily basis, the RVASI Lab team is actively engaged in analyzing the results of client assessment findings, working towards developing cost effective solutions, and researching industry best practices specifically designed to either remediate or mitigate risks. 

Also, the RVASI Labs team plays a key role in working with our various Strategic Partners. They analyze, test, and evaluate a multitude of security related products and services provided by our Strategic Partners in order to help deliver best-of-breed solutions to our clients.  Equally important is the information, knowledge, tools, and techniques that the team regularly shares with the greater Information Security community as a means of helping both clients and non-clients better secure their networks, systems, and Web applications.
